What Inspired Midgear?
It was a combination of two things:
One is the fact that we all experience challenges with finding top talent, from vetting to team dynamics, to economics that fit our budget and scale.
The other is the realisation that we had an opportunity to employ thousands of Indians where jobs aren’t available. That felt like a meaningful problem to solve.

Our founder & CEO - Murali Kumar
Murali started his career at 18 in sales and been a part of startups to Fortune 500 companies for over 12 years playing his part as CRO, VP Sales and partnerships, Head of Sales, Sales Trainer, Sales manager, Account Manager, and a star sales executive.
Working for both startups and large enterprises, he has witnessed how businesses scale and the impact of leveraging the global workforce can have on an organization. He began to question why so many domestic companies are limiting themselves to full time employees, when on-demand services can eliminate the hastle of recruiting, save time and overhead costs? This inspired to build a robust community for sales, customer success, and recruitment talent across the globe starting from India and connect them to businesses looking to scale.
With outsourcing being a very competitive market, he set out to differentiate MidGear by reinventing the industry. By outlining a rigorous screening process for applicants and clients alike, MidGear now has access to the top 2% remote professionals in India and clients supporting what we do.
With leadership built on confidence and empathy, Murali guarantees client happiness by taking care of his people. For him, preserving humanity in the workplace is a priority and that trust continues to be the recipe for a successful business.
